This is probably my least favourite picture of the set. These red poles are what my dad and I climbed up to get out of the water. We were behind the building, but you can see the water coming under the doors, and all the water on the right that come from under the building. The whole front of this building was destroyed. That was proably the scariest moment of my life...

that is so amazing, i dont know if u ever told me u experienced this but i cant remember. that would have been the scariest moment ever. what a relief you were fine, my gosh. id love to hear the story sometime but i think i read before you didnt liek to talk about it? well maybe we can catch up for coffee and u can tell me someday when youre ready

How terrifying. God, on little poles-- I'm amazed they didn't collapse. If I was a queen I'd give you a bravery award. I imagine that the most horrible part would have been the aftermath though.

i'm glad we got out of there fast, but i felt so guilty...and so sorry for the ppl who had nothing left
